What should SEO and AEO change on your website?
By Boulevard Labs · Updated · Editorial approach
SEO helps search engines discover and understand your pages. Answer engine optimization focuses on useful answers that can be understood in context. Both start with accessible pages, accurate information, and content that helps a customer make a decision.
Give each page one clear job
A service page explains the offer. A guide answers a buying question. A client story shows relevant work. Link those pages when the connection helps the reader, rather than creating a new page for every wording variation.
Answer the question before expanding
Start with a direct answer, then explain the conditions and trade-offs. Use descriptive headings so readers can find the part that matters to them.
Use evidence you can stand behind
Show actual work, explain the scope, and link sources for external facts. Publish results only when you can verify them. A clear example is more useful than an unsupported claim about being the best.
Make the content accessible
Keep important copy in readable HTML, use ordinary links between pages, and check that indexing is permitted on the live site. Accurate structured data should describe what the page actually contains.
Measure business outcomes
Review relevant search visits and qualified enquiries once measurement is configured. AI answers vary between queries and over time; a single appearance does not establish reliable growth.
